Long Weekend and a bug net. 2 of my favorite things!

So, the family and I were off to Vi's this weekend ... Smiths Falls, Ontario.  This was the first chance that I had to dig the bug net out this season and do some swinging.  So with the smell of slightly too ripe lilacs in the air and deer flies buzzing around my head, off I went into the swamp to see what was flying.  The day ended up a bit slow.  Ended up picking up some Silver Boarded Fritillaries (Boloria selene).  Not a whole lot else flying.  However, this makes me happy - so it was a good afternoon.  The frog has some great camo ... the Wild Columbine is a beautiful flower.
